Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The League for Environment and Conservation (BUND) has once again against a subway station in Stuttgart and made for the modernization of the station head strong. The head station and the railway tracks in front are extremely important for the climate in the Stuttgart basin and would offer a number of endangered species a habitat, BUND-State leader Brigitte Bender Dahl said on, gaia items, Tuesday in Stuttgart. The up to 200 years old trees that are to be felled for the billion-dollar project could be replaced only with great difficulty. New trees would need up to 100 years in order to be able to afford a similar amount for the climate.
