U.S. bank Wells Fargo announced layoffs for 2011 3800.
New York, July 7 .- The U.S. bank Wells Fargo, one of the largest in the country, announced today that during the next year will eliminate a total of 3,800 jobs as part of its restructuring process.
Wells Fargo, based in San Francisco (California), said through a press release that these layoffs are part of the restructuring of its financial division and as a result,, allods gold, 638 branches were closed.
That division of financial services to consumers has, according to the bank, with 14,000 employees, and layoffs, 2,800 positions "were eliminated in the next 60 days, and another 1,000 over the next twelve months."
The financial institution pointed out that other employees were reassigned to other divisions.
