Vancouver (AFP) - Cross-country skier Japanese Yoshihiro Nitta won Sunday at Whistler Paralympic gold in a 1 km sprint skiing class standing of mortal online gold .
Nitta, 29, rushed into the first position of the final and clocked 3 min 30 sec 7. The silver medal back to Russian Kirill Mikhaylov (3:32.3), while the Finn Ilkka Tuomisto (3:33.9) captured the bronze medal.
